East Staffordshire & South Derbyshire Business Awards receive record entries in 2025

The East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire Business Awards has received an overwhelming response this year, setting a new record for the total number of applications received from local businesses. 

And the full list of finalists are set to be revealed exclusively in Daily Focus on Friday, 26 September.

Now in its 15th year, the awards recognise the achievements of businesses across East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire over the past 12 months and beyond.

Dave Bryon, host of the awards, said: “We are delighted by the response this year. 

It is a clear reflection of the creativity, dedication and hard work of businesses in our region, and we look forward to celebrating their achievements at the Gala Awards Evening in November.”

Judging panels will visit shortlisted finalists throughout October. The Gala Awards Evening will take place on Thursday 13 November at the Pirelli Stadium, home of Burton Albion FC.

The awards feature 10 categories, including innovation, customer service and overall business performance. Businesses of all sizes are eligible to enter, and entering multiple categories is encouraged.
