The countdown has started to the closing date for entries to the 2021 Business Awards for East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire.
The deadline is Friday 24th September, and with the summer holiday season behind us businesses and organisations are starting to submit entries. There are ten categories that businesses can enter, including two categories that recognise individual employee performance.
There has also been a change to one of the categories, with the retail sector now included in the Leisure, Hospitality and Retail Award. This came about after a number of retail businesses asked to be included after successfully trading through the recent pandemic.
The annual awards have been running since 2010, and after an enforced break last year are now back bigger and better. Businesses and organisations of all sizes are being encouraged to enter, including start-ups that have been trading for less than three years. The Awards Evening itself will take place at the Pirelli Stadium on Thursday 11th November. It is always a sell-out event, and the best way to get a place is to enter the awards and hopefully get selected as a finalist (all finalists are invited to attend).
