The East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire Business Awards has received an overwhelming response this year, setting a new record for the total number of applications received from local businesses.
Now in its 14th year, the business awards – recognised as the biggest in the region – celebrates the hard work, innovation, and success during the last 12 months and beyond.
Dave Bryon, host and organiser of the East Staffordshire & South Derbyshire Business Awards, said: “We are absolutely delighted with the response we’ve received this year.
“To have set a new record for the number of entries is a fantastic reflection of the talent and resilience of businesses in our region.
“It’s a privilege to showcase the incredible work being done locally, and we’re looking forward to celebrating their achievements at what promises to be another unforgettable Gala Awards Evening.”
The Steering Committee and Judging Panels will be visiting the shortlisted finalists throughout October, with the highly-anticipated Gala Awards Evening set for 14 November at the prestigious Pirelli Stadium, home of Burton Albion FC.
