The Steering Committee have reluctantly agreed to cancel the 2020 Business Awards for East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire.
The ongoing Covid pandemic means that it is highly unlikely that we will be able to undertake the judging visits or hold the flagship Awards Evening in November.
Dave Bryon, the Awards Director, commented: “The Steering Committee discussed the option of holding a virtual awards evening, but this has grown to be the highlight of the business year and it was felt that hosting it online would not do the event justice.”
The majority of the partners and sponsors are keen to remain involved, and we are therefore hopeful that the Awards will resume again in 2021.
